Bubble Wands

Bubbles are fun to play with outside on a hot day. Here are two ways to make your very own bubble wand to create beautiful bubbles of different shapes and sizes!

What You Need
Bubble Solution:
- A container for mixing bubble solution (a bowl, baking pan, or tub)
- Dish soap
- Water
Bubble Wands:
OR
- 2 sticks of equal length
- Yarn
- Scissors

What you do:
Bubble Solution:
- Take your container and fill it with dish soap and water.
- Mix it around and set aside.

Using pipe cleaners:
- Take a pipe cleaner and make a loop at the top. Twist the end around to hold it in place.

Make the loop into whatever shape you would like. (Try using a cookie cutter as a guide for creating shapes.)
Dip the wand in the container filled with bubble solution and…. abracadabra! Wave your wand to make magic bubbles!

2. Using yarn and sticks:
Cut 2 pieces of yarn about 1 foot long each

| Tie one end of the yarn to one of the sticks. Do this for both pieces of yarn. |
 |
|
Tie the opposite ends of the yarn pieces to the other stick. Try and make both strings the same length.
While holding one hand on each of the ends of the sticks, dip the yarn and sticks in the container filled with bubble solution and slowly pull it out…watch your bubble grow! |
