Calling All Detectives! Can you solve a Mystery?
Guess who I am using the clues below. I could be a plant, animal, bird, tree, insect, arachnid (spiders), or amphibian found in Colorado. (Look for the answer in next month’s newsletter as well as a new mystery!)
Most days you’ll find me hopping in the grass, in search of a buggy treat or worm to eat.
But when the mood is right for singing a tune, to the top of a tree or a roof I will go to put on my show.
Up high on a perch, my orange chest flashes bright, then I stretch my blue wings and quickly take flight.
My muddy nest hides speckled blue eggs, soon will hatch a hungry family of chicks, with matching yellow beaks: peep, cheep... peep, cheep.
