Mystery # 11

Calling All Detectives!
Can you solve a Mystery?

Guess who I am using the clues below. I could be a plant, animal, bird, tree, insect, arachnid (spiders), or amphibian found in Colorado. (Look for the answer in next month’s newsletter as well as a new mystery!)

1. I am very adapted to city life, so you will see me grazing in parks and fields all over Denver.

2. Since my diet is mainly grass and aquatic plants, my scat is green! I have brown feathers covering my body with a white belly, and black feathers on my neck and head.

3. I am never far from a river or pond and my webbed feet act as flippers to propel me through the water.

4. I fly in flocks (a group of birds) while honking loudly.
